I like the food here. I would order take out or delivery. The store experience is so so. BYOB.

Rib tips were dry and the chicken was just okay, sweet potato fries were not bad. One thing i didn't really care for was the brown sugar on the sweet potato fries. The problem my wife had was she could taste the kerosine on her food which was a turn off. Price is very reasonable and service is very good.

Im giving them three stars only because of how long it takes to deliver. The food is always amazing, but the last few times I've ordered its taken 30-45 minutes longer than the estimated arrival time. It would be nice to at least get a text from grub hub saying it's running late. So five stars for food and two stars for service.

First time I went I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it blew me away. I'd eat the pork by itself if their BBQ sauce wasn't so incredible. The next time I went I got their chicken wings and they are probably the best wings I've ever had. It's the whole wing, and they smoke them before they fry 'em up to-order. Crispy but not greasy, amazing smoke flavor, and I love their buffalo sauce. Not to mention the guys who work there are really nice. I've been to quite a few of the popular barbecue places in Chicago, and I think Smokin' Woody's is my favorite.

I haven't been here in a while, and that's a shame. If...when you go to Smokin' Woody's you'll be greeted with a jovial aroma of smoke followed by the sweet scent of pork. Once you sit down, be prepared to eat the cities best pulled pork, you don't need sauce for this meat but if you must they have some great sauces for all tastes. Get some lemonade and potato salad to go with your bbq and you've got the essence of summer, all year round. P.S. Be sure to bring cash, no credit cards (that's the only thing I wish they would change).

The pulled pork sandwich is the best the sauce adds alot of flavor the meat is so moist and flavorfull by itself I recommended to anyone its worth the price and wait.

Best in the city? No not really. But to be fair, they taste pretty good. Also, the location is prime as well. Not too crowded and portions are good. Its definitely my #2 or #3 rib joint in the city.

This is the third time we’ve ordered take out from Woody’s. The firs time the food was good. The second, not as good. The third Terrible. I’m giving Woody’s 2 stars because there delivery time is good and the coleslaw is very good and consistent. We ordered a full slab of ribs. Nice and meaty but they could not have been more dry! Two of us couldn’t finish them. We also ordered their Mac & Cheese. Besides being Cold, the dish was also very dry and tasteless. To top it all off, the fries were Cold, soggy and also tasteless. We both agreed this meal could not have been more disappointing. Three strikes and they’re OUT!

Just ok when I I think of bqq I want just that the chicken and ribs had none add your own ribs were over cooked chicken was a bit better. I was served water down lemonade not impressed at all

I've never actually been to the restaurant but i continually order from them online. phenomenal southern BBQ. always delivered in a timely manner with reasonable prices and tons of food per serving. you will not be disappointed!

Honestly I prefer their sandwiches over the ribs but you can never go wrong with their sweet potato fries. Definitely a place you pick up to go - always a nice change of pace from normal burgers or pizza.

Good service, diner atmosphere, adequate food. If I'm in the area again, I might stop in, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

I love the sweet potato fries! We don't usually eat in so I can't say much about the service. We have always had prompt and friendly service for take out though. The brisket makes me fee like I am back in Texas!

Tony and Aimy, are fun people who are musically hip. We played name that tune as we munched out. OH Yeah! I have personally eaten a lot of rib tips; both homemade and at other venues. Food is delicious and authentic. Portions are very sizeable. Atmosphere is comfertable. Service is wonderful and the employees are extremely friendly. I would suggest this to anyone else who likes BBQ and good food in general.
